To remove |

Drain the AC system of refrigerant.

Remove the grille.
|
3. |
Unplug the pressure switch's connector. In hot-climate markets the AC system is equipped with two pressure switches.

4. |
Remove the bolts securing the pipes to the receiver.
|
5. |
Remove the bolt securing the receiver to the holder on the condenser.
|
6. |
Lift up the receiver.
|
7. |
Plug the openings.
|
8. |
Unscrew the pressure switch or switches. It/They should be transferred to the new receiver.

To fit |
1. |
Fit new O-rings on the connections for the pressure monitor(s) on the receiver. Lubricate the O-rings with synthetic vaseline.

2. |
Screw the pressure switch or switches to the new receiver.
|
3. |
Place the receiver in its holder.
|
4. |
Fit new O-rings on the receiver's pipes. Lubricate the O-rings with synthetic vaseline.
|
5. |
Fit the pipes and tighten the screws.
Tightening torque: 9 Nm (6.6 lbf ft) |
6. |
Tighten the bolt securing the receiver in the holder on the condenser.

7. |
Plug in the connector(s) on the pressure monitor(s) (two pressure monitors in hot-climate markets).
|
8. |
Fill up with compressor oil, carry out vacuum pumping of the AC system and fill up with refrigerant.
|
9. |
Refit the grille.
