The electrically heated rear window does not work

Diagnostic procedure
|
1.
|
Connect the ISAT, contact the ICE control module and read the trouble codes, if any. Rectify the faults as described in Service Manual 3:5 "Electrical system, instruments".

2.
|
Check the voltage on pin 5 of the 10-pin connector (at the rear of the control panel?).
|
|
|

|
When the button is depressed, a reading of 12 V should be obtained.
|
|
|
•
|
When the button is not depressed, a reading of 0 V should be obtained. Change the pushbutton set if the voltage is not OK.
|
|
3.
|
Check the wiring between pin 5 of the control panel (connector 1) and pin 66 of the ICE control module for continuity/shorting.
|
|
4.
|
Continue by consulting Service Manual 3:5 "Electrical system, instruments".
