Headlining
Headlining |
The headlining is available in three versions:
A. |
Headlining for an outer roof with bonded rear window is fitted with blind rivets.

B. |
Headlining for an outer roof with rear window mounted with clips. Headlining fitted with screws.
|
C. |
Headlining for outer roof with rear window mounted with clips. Headlining fitted with screws and also secured with screws in the front of the first bow.

To remove |
Operate the soft top to half open position.
1. |
Drill away the blind rivets securing the headlining.
If the soft top is fitted with a rear window mounted with clips instead of adhesive: Remove the screws securing the headlining. |
2. |
Remove the screws securing the back of the headlining.

3. |
Detach the headlining from the Velcro strip.
If the headlining is screwed: Fold down the cloth flap and remove the screws. |
4. |
Mark out the position for the ends of the headlining retaining rails on the second bow. Then remove the strip holding the headlining to the second bow.

5. |
Mark out the position for the ends of the headlining retaining rails on the third bow. Then remove the strip holding the headlining to the third bow.

6. |
Remove the headlining retaining strip from the fourth bow.
|
7. |
Lift out the headlining.

To fit |
If the Velcro strip has come loose, the headlining can be screwed on after modifying the first bow. See
Operate the soft top to half open position.
1. |
Place the headlining in the car and insert the retaining strip into the fourth bow.

2. |
Tighten the screws securing the rear of the headlining.
|
3. |
Position the headlining retaining rails to the mark in the third bow and press on the strip securing the headlining to the third bow.

4. |
Position the headlining retaining rails to the mark in the second bow and press on the strip securing the headlining to the second bow.
|
6. |
Blind rivet/screw on the headlining.
|
7. |
Position the headlining around the rear window and press it onto the Velcro strip.
