The door keeps for the front doors have a threaded body bracket and for the rear doors a welded bracket.
The tailgate is fitted with two gas-filled struts to hold it in the open position. These gas springs are mounted on either side of the tailgate opening and fastened to the car body and tailgate by means of ball pins. The tailgate can be opened by means of the key or the switch located in the driver's door.
