Make sure that the thermostat really is inoperative by checking whether it closes the circuit on being cooled down.
|
|
1.
|
Gain access to the thermostat by undoing the rear edge of the seat-cushion fabric.
|
|
2.
|
Carefully cut away the foam plastic round the thermostat.
|
|
3.
|
Unplug the thermostat connector.
|
Fit in reverse order.
|
Note
|
|
Fix the thermostat and heating wires with a repair patch. The distance between the thermostat and the heating wires must be at least 8 mm.
