Conditions for Running the DTC |

Ignition ON |
• |
The parallel parking assist is activated. The activation takes place through pressing the parallel parking assist switch. |
Conditions for Setting the DTC |
Action Taken When the DTC Sets |

The parallel parking assist is disabled. |
• |
An indicator in the driver information center shows the parking assistance is not available. |

Circuit/System Testing |
1. |
Ignition OFF, disconnect the X2 harness connector at the K41 Parking Assist Control Module. |
2. |
Test for infinite resistance between the input signal circuit terminal 6 X2 at the K41 Parking Assist Control Module harness connector and ground. |
3. |
If less than the specified range, test input signal circuit for a short to ground. If the circuit tests normal, replace the S48E Multifunction Switch - Center Console. |
4. |
If all circuits test normal, replace the K41 Parking Assist Control Module. |
