DTC P1448 FUEL TANK SENSOR CONTROL VALVE RANGE PERFORMANCE

DTC DETECTING CONDITION:


• Two consecutive driving cycles with fault

• GENERAL DESCRIPTION


Important

After repair or replacement of faulty parts, conduct Clear Memory Mode and Inspection Mode .


WIRING DIAGRAM:


CHECK ANY OTHER DTC ON DISPLAY.

Is any other DTC displayed?

Yes

Inspect the relevant DTC using the “List of Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)”.


No


CHECK FUEL FILLER CAP.

Turn ignition switch to OFF.

Open the fuel flap.

Is the fuel filler cap tightened securely?

Yes


No

Tighten fuel filler cap securely.


CHECK EVAPORATIVE EMISSION LINE.

Note

Check the following items.

• Disconnection, leakage and clogging of hoses between fuel tank pressure sensor and fuel tank.

• Disconnection, leakage and clogging of hoses and pipes between fuel filler pipe and fuel tank.


Is there any trouble in evaporative emission line?

Yes

Repair the hoses and pipes.


No

Replace the fuel tank pressure sensor.
