CHECK PRE-INSPECTION.
Ask the customer when and how trouble occurred using interview checklist.Before performing the diagnosis, inspect following items which might influence the AT problems.

Repair or replace each item.
CHECK AT OIL TEMP WARNING LIGHT.
Turn the ignition switch to ON.Does the AT OIL TEMP warning light illuminate?

CHECK AT OIL TEMP WARNING LIGHT.
Turn the ignition switch to OFF.Repair the AT OIL TEMP warning light circuit or power supply and ground line circuit.
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Is the AT OIL TEMP warning light illuminate?
Yes |
No |
CHECK INDICATION OF DTC.
Calling up the DTC.Note | ||
If the communication function of Vehicle Diagnostic Interface cannot be executed normally, check the communication circuit. |

PERFORM THE GENERAL DIAGNOSTICS.
Inspect using “Diagnostic Procedure without DTC”.Inspect using “Symptom Related Diagnostic”.
Perform the clear memory mode.
Perform the inspection mode.
Calling up the DTC.
Is the DTC displayed?

Complete the diagnosis.
PERFORM THE DIAGNOSIS.

Repair the trouble cause.
Perform the clear memory mode.
Perform the inspection mode.
Calling up the DTC.

Complete the diagnosis.
