Remove the main unit (audio) or radio.

Push the SID unit out from behind.
|
|
3.
|
Unplug the connector from the SID unit.
|

Plug in the SID unit connector.

Refit the main unit (audio) or radio.

Reset the SID unit clock and the code on a retrofitted radio (the radio code does not require resetting on cars with the Saab Audio System).

It is recommended to replace all the bulbs in the SID unit at the same time as they all have the same life expectancy.

Remove the SID unit as described under

Replace the bulbs, 4+2.
|

Reset the SID unit clock and the code on a retrofitted radio (the radio code does not require resetting on cars with the Saab Audio System).

After replacement of the SID unit, spare parts programming must be performed. Follow the instructions in the diagnostic tool menu "Programming".
