Take the front seat out of the car, see

Manual front seat:
Remove the height adjustment lever and backrest adjustment knob.

Remove the seat side panel, 2 caps and 3 screws. Lift the back of the side panel and pull it forwards.

(Electrically adjustable front seats) Unplug the connector to the switch and memory buttons if fitted.

Remove the plastic cover on each side of the backrest joint.
The plastic covers conceal the holes for access to the screws holding the seat at the rear. |

Undo the seat cushion at the rear, 2 screws.
The screws are inside the holes concealed by the dismantled plastic covers. |

Undo the seat cushion at the front, 2 screws.

Undo the straps holding the bottom of the backrest upholstery.

9. |
Cut the cable ties. Unplug and mark the connector.
Lift out the seat. |
10. |
Remove the backrest, 2 screws each side.

11. |
Remove the seat-belt buckle, 1 screw and cable tie.

Electrically adjustable front seat:
Remove motors and sensors for legroom adjustment, see . Remove motor and sensor for height adjustment front, see , and rear, see . |
Fitting |
Fit in reverse order.
