Symptom: Engine will not start.
P1135 can be generated as a follow-on fault if fault occurred while engine running.
Fuel Pump Relay Coil Circuit. Short to B+.

Conditions
The following conditions apply for this DTC:
|
•
|
Ignition ON and main relay voltage exceeding 10 V.
|
|
•
|
Output voltage exceeding 2 V when output is active.
|
|
•
|
Condition fulfilled for 1 sec.
|
Diagnostic help
Fault diagnosis concerns electrical fault in connecting leads or in the relay.

Activate fuel pump relay output.

Checking the wiring
Jiggle the wiring harness at several points and in different directions to detect intermittent breaks and short circuits. Observe the multimeter, diagnostic tool or test lamp during the check.
