1. Washer fluid, top up
2. Check battery voltage
3. Fit main fuse no. 1 in main fuse box
4. Fit A/C and ACC fuse 5 in engine bay main fuse box
5. Anti-theft alarm, affix labels.
6. (Only for markets in Sweden and Finland). Affix child seat warning label
7. Fit cover washers for drivers door and luggage compartment locks
8. Saab Information Display: Set the clock, program the SID
9. Program ACC-unit
10. Check operation of windscreen wipers and washers
11. Tyre pressure, check and adjust (including spare tyre)
12. Check oil and fluid levels, inspect for leakage, top up. Engine, automatic transmission and power steering
13. Check fluid and coolant levels, inspect for leakage, top up as necessary. Cooling system, brake and clutch system
14. (Turbo only). Connect the electric lead to the solenoid valve
15. Underbody, raise the car and check the underbody for transit damage. Note that the rust protection must be intact.

Lift the car using the illustrated points only.


16. (Certain markets only) . Remove brake disc transit protection
17. (9-3 Viggen only). Remove transit supports on front dampers
18. Rear axle mounting, retightening
19. Fit cover in spoiler. Position the tools and the included accessories. (Only 9-3 Viggen). Radio aerial, fit (Only 9-3 Viggen on US, CA PA, JP and AU markets): Remove front towing eye
20. (Only European market). Place "Certificate of Conformity" with customer's vehicle documentation.
21. Program TWICE control module
22. Diagnostic trouble codes, delete in all control modules.
23. Road test
24. Only SE, US and CA markets . Diagnostic trouble codes after road test, check that no new diagnostic trouble codes have been detected by the engine and automatic transmission control systems.
25. Cleaning
Warning

Lengthy and repeated contact with mineral oil removes the natural oils from your skin, drying it out and causing irritation. If oil has been swallowed, do not provoke vomiting. Call a doctor.
