Remove the final drive gear bolts using an external torx and tap off the final drive gear using a plastic hammer.

Important
|
|
Do not mix old and new bolts on the same gear wheel. Always use new bolts.
|
|
|
|

Tap on the final gear wheel on the differential housing using a plastic hammer.
|
|
2.
|
Fit the final drive gear with the marking towards the differential housing. Fit the new bolts and tighten alternately. Coat the bolts with
74 96 292 Thread lock
. The wheel may require slight heating before fitting.
Tightening torque
20 Nm+90° (15 lbf ft+90°)
