Brake servo unit, LHD

To remove



1. Remove the brace between the MacPherson struts.

2. Remove the master cylinder, see .

3. Remove the vacuum hose from the brake servo.


4. Undo the main fuse box and place it to one side to improve accessibility.

5. Remove the brake servo retaining nuts from the bracket.

6. Remove the rubber gaiter from the bulkhead partition and pull it towards the servo unit.

7. Remove the clip on the pushrod and lift out the brake servo unit.


To fit



1. Place the brake servo unit into the bracket and tighten the four retaining nuts.

2. Fit the clip on the pushrod and the rubber gaiter to the bulkhead partition.

3. Fit the main fuse box in place.


4. Fit the vacuum hose.

5. Fit the master cylinder, see .

6. Fit the brace between the MacPherson struts.

7. Bleed the brake system. See Bleeding the brake system .
