Fifth bow

Removing



1. Remove soft top assembly. See Outer roof, headlining and rear window

Remove the lock fittings.

2. Remove the cable for the fourth bow and the window guide.

3. Mark the position of the screw heads on the fifth bow mountings and remove the screws.

4. Lift away the fifth bow.


Fitting



1. Fit the fifth bow on the right side and fit the screws loosely.

2. Insert the leads for the electrically heated rear window in the groove.

Important

Make sure that the cables are not pinched between the mounting and the fifth bow.


3. Fasten the screws using the markings on the left side.

4. Tighten the screws according to the markings on the right side.

5. Fit the window guide and cable for the fourth bow.

6. Fit the lock fittings. Adjust the lock fittings. See
