Microswitch soft top cover latch

The following describes how the right microswitch is removed. Left microswitch is removed using the same method.

1.
|
Remove the rear side trim. See

|
2.
|
Remove the clip for the rear trim and lift up the trim.
|
|
3.
|
Remove the screws holding the microswitch.
|
|
4.
|
Unplug the connector and remove the microswitch.
|
|
1.
|
Fit the microswitch and tighten the bolts.
|
|
2.
|
Plug in the connector and fit the tape
|
|
3.
|
Fit the rear upholstery.
|
|
4.
|
Refit the rear side trim. See

|
5.
|
Connect the diagnostics tool and erase any diagnostic trouble code.
