Changing the front bumper shell, Aero/Viggen

To remove


1. Remove the bumper, see .

2. Place the bumper on a protective surface.

3. Remove the fog lights. Remove the holder, unscrew the two bolts and undo the nut at the top. Withdraw the fog light.


4. Remove the spoiler shield still fixed to the bumper.


5. Remove the bumper rail from the 11 clips that secure it to the protective shell and remove it from the shell.

Note

Use one or two flat screwdrivers.


6. Remove the cell section from the protective shell (wedged under the corners of the protective shell).


7. Remove the 8 clips securing the bumper grille and remove the grille. Remove the band securing the cover for the towing eye.


To fit



1. Fit the grille in the bumper and refit the band for the towing eye cover.

2. Press the cell section into the protective shell.

3. Refit the rail in the protective shell.


Note

The rail should be positioned correctly by means of the locating stud.


4. Fit the spoiler shield.

5. Fit the fog lights.


6. Refit the bumper, see

7. Check the headlamp alignment and adjust if necessary.
