Make sure the handbrake is not applied.

Raise the car and remove the wheel.
|

| 3. |
Press back the brake piston using a pair of slip-joint pliers.
|

Remove the two brake caliper retaining bolts. Detach the brake pipe from the clip. Take care not to damage the brake pipe when detaching it.

Suspend the brake caliper with a cable tie. Use a welding clamp fastened to the silencer on the left-hand side.

| 6. |
If necessary, slacken the handbrake adjuster.
|
|
| 7. |
Remove the brake disc retaining bolts and take off the brake disc.

| To fit |
| 1. |
Clean the new brake disc from oil and dirt.
|
|
| 2. |
Place the brake disc on the hub and tighten the brake disc locking screw using threadlock.
Tightening torque 10 Nm (7 lbf ft) |

Fit the brake caliper, apply threadlock (Loctite 242, part number 74 96 268) to the two retaining screws and tighten with torque wrench.
Tightening torque 80 Nm (59 lbf ft) |

Remove the welding clamp and cable tie.

| 6. |
Fit the wheel, see
Wheels.
Tightening torque 110 Nm (81 lbf ft) |

| 7. |
Lower the car to the floor and depress the brake pedal to force out the brake pistons.
|

Check the handbrake and adjust if necessary. See

Check the brake fluid level. Test drive the car and check the function of the brakes.
