9-3 (9400) FaultTrace Mode

Check the wiring harness between the main unit and the CD changer

Remove component: Main unit, Audio system

Unplug the connector:

Main unit, Audio system 353 A,B,C

Unplug the connector:

CD changer 355

Take a resistance reading between

• 7 Main unit, Audio system

• 3 CD changer

• Move the wiring harness at several spots and in several directions to reveal intermittent breaks and short-circuits. Check switches, connectors and crimp connections for oxidation, retracted pins and pin clamping force.

The reading obtained should be 0 - 1 ohm
