The A/C receiver and the compressor oil absorb moisture from the air, which can then not be removed. Plug all connections that are opened immediately. |

To remove |
1. |
Put the car on a lift.
|
2. |
Drain the refrigerant from the A/C system, see
Draining and filling the refrigerant
.

3. |
Raise the car.
|
4. |
Remove
front spoiler shield
.
|
5. |
Remove the right
headlamp
.
|
6. |
Remove the right cover.
|
7. |
Detach the air cleaner intake pipe.
|
8. |
Remove receiver screws.
|
9. |
Detach the upper and lower PAD connections from the condenser. Plug the openings.
|
10. |
Detach the high pressure pipe's PAD connection from the receiver. Plug the opening.
|
11. |
Dismantle the receiver.

To fit |
1. |
Fill the compressor oil. See
Filling and adjusting the compressor oil
.
|
2. |
Replace the seal and attach the high pressure pipe's PAD connection to the receiver.
Tightening torque 18 Nm (13 lbf ft) |
3. |
Attach the PAD connections to the condenser using new seals.

4. |
Fasten the receiver to the radiator.

5. |
Attach the air cleaner intake pipe.
|
6. |
Fit the right cover.
|
7. |
Fit the right
headlamp
.
|
8. |
Raise the car.
|
9. |
Fit
front spoiler shield
.
|
10. |
Lower the car.
|
11. |
Vacuum pump and fill the A/C system with refrigerant. See
Draining and filling the refrigerant
