Receiver high pressure pipe, Z19DT/DTH

Important

The A/C receiver and the compressor oil absorb moisture from the air, which can then not be removed. Plug all connections that are opened immediately.

To remove

1. Put the car on a lift.

2. Drain the refrigerant from the A/C system, see Draining and filling the refrigerant .

3. Raise the car.

4. Remove the front lower engine cover.

5. Remove the rubber hose from the lower part of the turbocharger pipe.

6. Remove the screw from the turbocharger pipe's lower mounting.

7. Lower the car.

8. Remove the rubber hose from the upper part of the turbocharger pipe and move the hose to one side.

9. Remove the screw from the turbocharger pipe's upper mounting and lift out the turbocharger pipe.

10. Remove the screw from the clip that holds the A/C compressor low pressure pipe on the radiator member.

11. Detach the PAD connection on the front right structural member. Plug the openings.

12. Remove the PAD connection from the receiver's high pressure pipe. Plug the openings.

13. Remove the receiver's high pressure pipe.

To fit

1. Adjust the oil quantity in the A/C system. See Filling and adjusting the compressor oil .

2. Insert the receiver's high pressure pipe into position.

3. Replace the sealing washer and fit the PAD connection for the high pressure pipe on the receiver.
