Important | ||
The A/C receiver and the compressor oil absorb moisture from the air, which can then not be removed. Plug all connections that are opened immediately. |

To remove |
1. |
Put the car on a lift.

2. |
Drain the refrigerant from the A/C system, see
Draining and filling the refrigerant
.

3. |
Remove the upper engine cover.
|
4. |
Remove the upper hose from the turbocharger pipe.
|
5. |
Remove the screw to the turbocharger pipe's upper mounting.
|
6. |
Remove the high pressure pipe's PAD connection from the receiver. Plug the openings.
|
7. |
Raise the car.
|
8. |
Remove the front lower engine cover.
|
9. |
Remove the hose from the charge air cooler and turbocharger pipe.
|
10. |
Remove the screw from the turbocharger pipe's lower mounting. Move down the turbocharger pipe.
|
11. |
Remove the receiver and move it down.

To fit |
1. |
Fill the compressor oil. See
Filling and adjusting the compressor oil
.

2. |
Move the receiver up into position and fit it.
|
3. |
Move the turbocharger pipe up into position and fit the screw to the turbocharger pipe's lower mounting.

4. |
Fit the hose to the charge air cooler and turbocharger pipe.
|
5. |
Fit the front lower engine cover.
|
6. |
Lower the car.
|
7. |
Remove the sealing washer and fit the high pressure pipe's PAD connection to the receiver.
Tightening torque 18 Nm (13 lbf ft) |
8. |
Fit the screw to the turbocharger pipe's upper mounting.

9. |
Fit the upper hose to the turbocharger pipe.
|
10. |
Fit the upper engine cover.
|
11. |
Vacuum pump and fill the A/C system with refrigerant. See
Draining and filling the refrigerant
.
