Oil filter bypass valve, change

To remove



1. Remove the oil filter - see Oil filter, change .

2. Cut threads in the washer with a screw die (1) (M10, step 3), screw in an M10 bolt and pull out the bypass valve from its seat.


To fit

Tap in the bypass valve until it stops with a drift (Ø approx. 15 mm).

Fit the oil filter - see Oil filter, change .

Check the engine oil level, adjust as necessary.
