Checks


1. Remove Glow plug (398), Z19DTH .

2. Fit 32 025 018 Adapter, compression test to cylinder 1.

3. Connect the compression gauge using a measuring range between 10 and 40 bar to the adapter.

4. Run the starter motor at a speed of at least 200 rpm until the pointer on the compression gauge has stopped rising.

5. Remove the compression gauge and the adapter.

6. Measure the compression on cylinder 2-4.

7. The maximum pressure difference allowed between cylinders is 150 hPa (1.5 bar).

8. Fit Glow plug (398), Z19DTH .
