Hydraulic valve tappets, Z19DTH

/ 9-3 (9440) / 2010 / 2. Engine / 4-cylinder diesel / Basic engine / Adjustment/replacement / Hydraulic valve tappets, Z19DTH

To remove

1.	Remove Camshaft housing, Z19DTH Note Remove the rocker arms one at a time so they are not mixed up.

2.	Remove the rocker arms from the hydraulic valve tappets.

3.	Change one valve tappet at a time so they are not mixed up.

To fit

1.	Check the rocker arms.

2.	Lubricate the valve tappet sliding surfaces with engine oil. Fit the valve tappets.

3.	Lubricate the rocker arms with engine oil. Fit the rocker arms to the hydraulic valve tappets and valves. Note the location of the rocker arms.

4.	Fit Camshaft housing, Z19DTH .
