| To remove | 
| 1. | 
        Raise the car.
         | 
      |
| 2. | 
        Remove the wheel.
         | 
      |
| 3. | 
        Remove and suspend the hydraulic body.
         | 
      |
| 4. | 
        Remove the bush bolts (A) and move aside the anti-roll bar (B).
         
        
         | 
      |
| 5. | 
        Compress the spring with
        
         88 18 791 Spring compressor
        
        and the small jaws. Lift out the spring.
         Remove the spring from the tool.  
        
         | 
      |
| To fit | 
| 1. | 
        Compress the spring with
        
         88 18 791 Spring compressor
        
        and place the spring support in the spring.
         | 
      |
| 2. | 
        Lift the spring into position. Remove the spring compressor.
         | 
      |
| 3. | 
        Fit the hydraulic body.
         Tightening torque 28 Nm (21 lbf ft)  | 
      |
| 4. | 
        Fit the
        
         Wheel
        
        .
         | 
      |
| 5. | 
        Use the same method to replace the spring on the other side.
         | 
      |
| 6. | 
        Bend up the anti-roll bar (B) and fit the bush bolts (A).
         Tightening torque 30 Nm (23 lbf ft). New illustration

| 7. | 
        Lower the car to the floor.
         | 
      |
| 8. |
