Damaged oil pan, moving against oil pump screen
A damaged oil pan may hold the oil pump's screen in an incorrect position, preventing a correct flow to the oil pump.

Oil pump screen loose, damaged or constricted.

Too much clearance between piston and cylinder hole

Incorrect fitting of piston, gudgeon pin and connecting rod.
Pistons must be fitted with the marking, or depression, on top of the piston, facing the front of engine. Gudgeon pins must be centred in the connecting rod's bolt holes.
