Preliminary Procedures

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .

2. Disconnect the transmission lines from the radiator. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection .


1 Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe Bracket Nut Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten

10 Nm (89 lb in)
2 Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose

Procedure

Discard the hose and install NEW seals prior to installation of the pipe. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe Seal Replacement
