Note
|
If the car is equipped with a radio other than a Saab original radio, check that the customer has the radio code before commencing work.
|
Disconnect the negative battery cable.
|
1.
|
Remove the left-hand direction indicator, see
, and headlamp, see
|
2.
|
Disconnect the battery drain hose from the 6-pin connector.
|
3.
|
Unplug the 6-pin connector for the bumper wiring harness.
|

|
Remove the lower front cover.
|
6.
|
Unplug the connectors for outside temperature sensor and fog lights/corner lights.
|
7.
|
Remove the wiring harness from its mounting points (2).
|

|
Position the wiring harness as before and secure it to the two clamps.
|
2.
|
Plug in the outdoor temperature sensor and fog lights/corner lights.
|
3.
|
Fit the lower front cover.
|
5.
|
Plug in the 6-pin connector.
|
6.
|
Connect the battery drain hose.
|
7.
|
Fit the left-hand direction indicator, see
, and headlamp, see
|
8.
|
Adjust the main and dipped beam, see
, and the fog light, see
|
Important
|
Secure the wiring harness to prevent the risk of chafing and rattling.
|
Check all rubber seals to minimize the risk of leakage.
|

Note
|
Spray all the connectors (with the exception of the oxygen sensor) with “Kontakt 61” to prevent copper rust from forming. Clean the grounding points and apply them with Vaseline.
