To remove


1. Remove the transmission, see .


2. Lift out the torque converter.

3. Insert 87 92 384 Puller, torque converter seal inside the seal and use 83 90 270 Sliding hammer to loosen the seal.


Fitting



1. Fit the new seal using 87 91 311 Sleeve, bearing, driver shaft .

2. Position the torque converter.

3. Check that the torque converter is correctly positioned by placing a steel rule on the torque converter housing's mating surface and measuring the distance between the mating surface and the drive plate's contact surface on the torque converter.

The distance should be: min. 9 mm.
