| Adjusting the height of the entire boot lid |
When adjusting or changing the boot lid on cars with VIN 3039285 - 3043680, the gap between the bolt head and the water channel must be sealed according to Boot lid hinges, 4D .
Adjust the height of the boot lid by loosening the screws holding the hinges to the body and moving the hinges up or down.

Loosen the front two screws on the hinges.

Loosen the rear retaining screw just enough to allow the front of the hinge to be adjusted upwards or downwards.

Then tighten the front screw and check fit and function.

Tighten the remaining screws.

The position of the rear of the boot lid when it is closed is determined by the two rubber buffers mounted on it.
