Symptom: CHECK ENGINE comes on after two driving cycles.
Possible smell of petrol and misfiring.

Conditions
The following fault symptoms apply for this DTC:

•
|
Engine running and main relay voltage exceeds 10 V.
|
|
•
|
Output voltage is below 2 V while output is inactive.
|
|
•
|
Conditions met within 10 periods that must occur within 60 seconds (it normally takes about 1 second for the diagnostic trouble code to be set).
|

Check the wiring

Note

|
Jiggle the leads and in-line connectors at various points and in different directions to detect any intermittent breaks or short circuits in the wiring. Observe the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic tool while doing this.
