Throttle control is imprecise.
Cruise control inoperative.
Starting problems, especially when engine is cold.
Throttle Motor Circuit. Shorted.

Conditions
The following conditions apply for this DTC:
•

Ignition ON and motor current exceeds 8 A during the positive or negative portion of the PWM period.
|
•
|
Condition met for 3 minutes.
|
Diagnostic help
This DTC is generated when the lead from control module pin 48 is shorted to B+.

Check the wiring
Note

Jiggle the leads and in-line connectors at various points and in different directions to detect any intermittent breaks or short circuits in the wiring. Observe the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic tool while doing this.
