Symptom: CHECK ENGINE lights up straight away.
Engine fails to start.
Possible misfiring before DTC is generated.
Main Relay Coil Circuit. Short to B+.

Conditions
The following conditions apply for this DTC:

|
Crankshaft rotating and output voltage above 2 V when the output is active.
|
|
•
|
Conditions are met for 0.5 seconds.
|

Check the wiring

Note

|
Jiggle the leads and in-line connectors at various points and in different directions to detect any intermittent breaks or short circuits in the wiring. Observe the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic tool while doing this.
