If the car is equipped with a radio other than a genuine Saab radio, check that the customer has the radio code before commencing work. |

|
Disconnect the negative battery cable. |

Remove the left-hand direction indicator
and headlamp
|
|
| 2. |
Disconnect the battery drain hose from the 6-pin connector.
|
|
| 3. |
Part the 6-pin connector for the bumper wiring harness.
|
|
| 4. |
Raise the car.
|
|
| 5. |
Remove the lower front cover.
|
|
| 6. |
Unplug the connectors for outside temperature sensor and fog lights/marker lights.
|
|
| 7. |
Remove the wiring harness from its mounting points (2).

| To fit |
| 1. |
Position the wiring harness as before and secure it with the two clamps.

| 2. |
Plug in the outdoor temperature sensor and fog lights/marker lights.
|
|
| 3. |
Fit the lower front cover.
|
|
| 4. |
Lower the car.
|
|
| 5. |
Assemble the 6-pin connector.
|

| 6. |
Connect the battery drain hose.
|
|
| 7. |
Fit the left-hand direction indicator
and headlamp
|

| 8. |
Adjust the main and dipped beam
and the fog light
|

|
Secure the wiring harness to prevent the risk of chafing and rattling. |

|
Check all rubber seals to minimize the risk of leakage. |

|
Spray all the connectors (with the exception of the oxygen sensor) with “Kontakt 61” to prevent copper rust from forming. Clean the grounding points and apply them with Vaseline. |
