Symptom: CHECK ENGINE lamp on.

P0112 Intake Air Temperature Sensor Circuit. Short to Ground.
P0113 Intake Air Temperature Sensor Circuit. Short to B+ / Open Circuit.

Conditions
The following conditions apply for this DTC:| • |
P0112:
Signal on control module sensor input exceeds 4.8 V for more than 1.2 seconds.

P0113:
Signal on control module sensor input less than 0.18 V for more than 1.2 seconds.

Diagnostic help
A substitute value of 20°C is used if the temperature sensor is defective.Boost pressure limiting takes place to protect the turbocharger at high altitude. Same ground circuit as the boost pressure sensor.
The sensor is a combined sensor for temperature and pressure.

A fault in the control module female connector can cause a trouble code. Check the contact for a bent pin, oxidation and tightness of pins. See Difficult faults in PSG16 despite trouble code |
