Conditions

The following conditions apply for this DTC:


When the difference between the values from the boost pressure sensor and atmospheric pressure sensor is greater than 22.5 kPa for more than 3 seconds. Diagnosis is active at engine speeds below 950 rpm and 15mg/combustion.

Fault criteria not fulfilled for P0107, P0108, P1107, P1108, P0642, P0643, P0652 or P0653.

DTC P0106 generated simultaneously in the control module. Boost pressure control and EGR control are deactivated. Diagnosis for P0107, P0108, P2228 and P2229 is switched off.

Default value of 70 kPa. Has the same power supply as pedal position sensor 2.

Note

A fault in the control module female connector can cause a trouble code. Check the contact for a bent pin, oxidation and tightness of pins. See Difficult faults in PSG16 despite trouble code
