Charge air cooler

| To remove | 
| 1. | Remove
        
         Front bumper shell

| 2. | Remove the lower shield of the charge air cooler.   | |
| 3. | Suspend the condenser with
        
         83 95 212 Strap
        
        . | |
| 4. | Remove the condenser bolts from the charge air cooler.   | |
| 5. | Raise the car. | |
| 6. | Detach the charge air hoses from the charge air cooler and move the hoses aside.   | |
| 7. | Remove the nuts securing the power steering cooling coil.   | |
| 8. | Remove the cooler brackets from the subframe. | |
| 9. | Undo the condenser from the charge air cooler and remove the charge air cooler from below. | |
| To fit | 
| 1. | Reposition the charge air cooler. Check that the locating pins are correctly positioned in the upper mountings. | |
| 2. | Raise the radiator core and position and fit the lower mountings against the subframe.   | |
| 3. | Fit the nuts securing the power steering cooling coil.

| 4. | Attach the hoses to the charge air cooler using new hose clips.   | |
| 5. | Lower the car to the floor. | |
| 6. | Fit the condenser bolts to the charge air cooler.   | |
| 7. | Remove the strap from the condenser. | |
| 8. | Raise the car and fit the lower shield of the charge air cooler.   | |
| 9. | Fit
