Distance sensor (SPA), 5D

Removal

1.	Remove Bumper shell/cellular block, rear 5D. .

2.	Unplug the connector from the sensor.

3.	Detach the sensor from the holder.

Refitting

When being replaced, the visible parts of the range sensors and holders must be painted in the same colour as the bumper shell.

Important

The paint layer must not be thicker than 90μ. Otherwise, the function of the system could be affected.

1.	Plug in the connector to the sensor.

2.	Fit the sensor into the holder. Make sure the guide pin is in the correct position.

3.	Fit Bumper shell/cellular block, rear 5D. .

Changing holder

1.	Push in the snap fastener and remove the holder from the bumper shell.

2.	Push the new holder securely into place. Check that the holder correctly locates in the cut-out in the bumper shell.
