Heating pad, rear seat

Changing

Remove the seat upholstery, see Upholstery, rear seat .

Remove the seat heater connector from the holder in the metal plate and unplug the connector.

Use special tool part no. 85 80 110.

Note
Wear gloves when working with benzine.

Detach the heating pad from the seat cushion using benzine.

Be careful to ensure that large pieces of padding do not come away.

Wipe the foam cushion before fitting the new heating pad.

Pull of the protective backing from the new heating pad.

Position the new heating pad on the seat cushion and press it in place.

Plug in the seat heater connector and fit the connector into the holder.
