Fuel Injector Replacement

/ 9-5 (9650) / 2011 / 2. Engine / Engine management and fuel system, 1.6 l petrol / Adjustment/replacement / Fuel Injector Replacement

Removal Procedure

1.	Remove the fuel injection fuel rail. Refer to Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Assembly Replacement .

2.	Remove the fuel injector retainer (1).

3.	Pull out the fuel injector (1) from the fuel injection fuel rail (2).

4.	Remove the injector upper seal (1) and the injector lower seal (2) from the fuel injector (3).

Installation Procedure

1.	Install with caution the injector upper seal (1) and the injector lower seal (2) to the fuel injector (3).

2.	Install the fuel injector (1) to the fuel injection fuel rail (2).

3.	Install the fuel injector retainer (1).

4.	Install the fuel injection fuel rail. Refer to Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Assembly Replacement .
