Preliminary Procedure

1. With the engine off, apply the brake pedal several times until the brake pedal becomes firm to deplete the vacuum brake booster vacuum reserve.

2. Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement .

3. Detach the charge air cooler outlet pipe for access. Refer to Charge Air Cooler Inlet Pipe and Outlet Pipe Replacement (LBY/A20DTR) Charge Air Cooler Inlet Pipe and Outlet Pipe Replacement (LBS/A20DTH) .

Vacuum Hose (Qty: 2)

Pump To Engine Fastener (Qty: 4)

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Procedure

Install NEW gasket.

Tighten

9 Nm (80 lb in)
