| 1. | Disable the SIR system. Refer to

| 2. | Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to

| 3. | Repair as much of the damaged area as possible. Refer to

| 4. | Remove all related panels and components. | |
| • | Remove the rear side door. Refer to

| • | Remove the rear side door weatherstrip - body side. Refer to

| • | Remove the rear compartment floor panel carpet. Refer to

| 5. | Remove the sealers and anti-corrosion materials from the repair area, as necessary. Refer to

| 6. | 
 Cut out the rocker panel rear.   | ||||||||||
| 7. | Locate and drill out all of the necessary factory welds. | |
| 8. | Remove the damaged rocker panel rear. | |
| Installation Procedure | 
| 1. | Apply bodywork repair through structural adhesive to body (1). Refer to
        
         Structural Adhesive Body Repairs
        
        . Apply 1K-Adhesive on the sound deadener (2). Refer to Chemical Products .   | |
| 2. | Position the rocker panel rear on the vehicle.   | |
| 3. | Verify the fit of the rocker panel rear. | |
| 4. | Clamp the rocker panel rear into position. | |
| 5. | 
 Spot weld (1) the rocker panel rear accordingly.   | |||||||
| 6. | MIG-braze (2) the rocker panel rear. | |
| 7. | Grind MIG-brazed seams. | |
| 8. | Apply the sealers and anti-corrosion materials to the repair area, as necessary. Refer to

| 9. | Install all related panels and components. | |
