       Remove the gear selector position sensor, see

| 2. | 
       Follow the instructions under "Dismantling the gearbox" in the section "Manual gearbox"
       
         
       
       up to and including the point where the gear-changing mechanism is lifted out.

| 3. | 
       Place the gear change mechanism in a screw vice with protective jaw faces.
        | 
     |
| 4. | 
       Tap out the clamping pin for the gear change lever's shaft.
        | 
     |
| 5. | 
       Withdraw the spring pin for the gear selector position sensor's shaft.
        | 
     |
| 6. | 
       Tap out the shaft and remove the selector lever.
        | 
     |
| 7. | 
       Place the gear-changing lever with springs and sleeves in the bearing bracket. Press in the shaft with the elongated groove facing as shown. Drive in the spring pin.

| 8. | 
       Drive in the spring pin for the gear selector position sensor's shaft with the opening facing towards the spring pin for the gear-changing lever's shaft, as shown. It must not bottom but allow the gear-changing lever to move with ease.

       Follow the instructions under "Assembling the gearbox" in "Manual gearbox"
       
         
       
       from the point where the gear-changing mechanism is lifted in place.

| 10. | 
       Fit the gear selector position sensor in place, see
