Fault diagnosis, no sound from one of the loudspeakers


Fault symptom

No sound from one of the speakers.

Diagnostic procedure


1. Use an ohmmeter to check whether there is an open circuit in the loudspeaker voice coil, see .

For connector B on the radio-cassette, see table on this page.

2. If the reading obtained is not OK, expose the loudspeaker in question so that the connector pins are accessible.

3. Check the wiring for continuity/shorting between the loudspeaker connector and the corresponding connector on the radio-cassette, as follows:
