Front Seat |

To remove |
1. | Slide the seat to the forward position. If the seat cannot be operated in a fore and aft direction, emergency operation must be used so that it can be removed. |
2. | Undo the rear of the seat, 2 bolts. |
3. | Slide the seat backwards and undo the front 2 bolts. |
4. | Remove the plastic catches from the seat. Tilt the seat backwards, cut off the cable tie and unplug the connector under the seat. |
5. | Lift out the seat and if necessary release the belt from the seat.

To fit |
1. | Lift the seat. Plug in the connector under the seat, hooking in the plastic catches. Fit a new cable tie. Fit the belt to the seat if it has been removed. |
2. | Slide the rails into the front keys. |
3. | Thread the front bolts. Use 74 96 268 Thread locking adhesive. Slide the seat forward. If "emergency operation" has been employed to move the seat, fit the bevel gear. |
4. | Screw in the rear screws. Use 74 96 268 Thread locking adhesive |
5. | Manual seat: Make sure the catches on the right-hand and left-hand sides have engaged.

6. | Tighten the rear screws with a torque wrench. Tightening torque: 24 Nm (18 lbf ft) |
7. | Slide the seat to the rear. Manual seat: Make sure the catches on the right-hand and left-hand sides have engaged. |
8. | Tighten the front screws with a torque wrench Tightening torque: 24 Nm (18 lbf ft) |
