DTC P0068 MANIFOLD PRESSURE SENSOR RANGE/PERFORMANCE

DTC DETECTING CONDITION:


• Two consecutive driving cycles with fault

• GENERAL DESCRIPTION


TROUBLE SYMPTOM:

Failure of engine to start

Important

After repair or replacement of faulty parts, conduct Clear Memory Mode and Inspection Mode .


WIRING DIAGRAM:


CHECK IDLE SWITCH SIGNAL.

Turn the ignition switch to ON.

Operate the LED operation mode for engine using Vehicle Diagnostic Interface.

For detailed operation procedure, refer to the “LED OPERATION MODE FOR ENGINE”.


Does the LED of {Idle Switch Signal} come on?

Yes


No

• Check the throttle position sensor circuit.

•
Note

In this case, it is not necessary to inspect DTC P0106.



CHECK ANY OTHER DTC ON DISPLAY.

Is any other DTC displayed?

Yes

• Inspect the relevant DTC. “List of Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)”.

In this case, it is not necessary to inspect DTC P0106.



No


CHECK CONDITION OF MANIFOLD ABSOLUTE PRESSURE SENSOR.

Is the manifold absolute pressure sensor installation bolt tightened securely?

Yes


No

Tighten the manifold absolute pressure sensor installation bolt securely.


CHECK CONDITION OF THROTTLE BODY.

Is the throttle body installation bolt tightened securely?

Yes

Replace the manifold absolute pressure sensor.


No

Tighten the throttle body installation bolt securely.
