Removing


1. Lower the soft top and position the soft top cover straight up.

2. Remove the side trim. See Rear side trim, CV .

3. Remove the relay holder.

4. Remove the relay.


4.A. Window lift left front. (Pos 519LH:1)

4.B. Main relay, pump motor. (Pos 519LH:2)

4.C. Window lift left rear. (Pos 519LH:3)

4.D. Window lift right rear. (Pos. 519RH:3)

4.E. Fifth bow. (Pos. 519RH:2)

4.F. Window lift right front. (Pos. 519:RH:1)


Fitting


1. Fit the relay.

2. Fit the relay holder.

3. Connect the diagnostic tool and program the relay. See the menu “Programming” Tech 2 menu structure .

Important

Never have more than one unprogrammed relay in the car. If more than one unprogrammed relay is fitted in the car both will receive the same address.

If more than one relay has to be replaced, first fit and program one relay, then fit and program the next relay. This procedure is to prevent two relays from getting the same address.


4. Then note the position of the relay.

5. Refit the side upholstery.

6. Erase any diagnostic trouble codes.
