| Always use wing covers when working in the engine bay. | ||
| To remove | 
| 1. | Undo the expansion tank cap and release the pressure. | |
| 2. | Remove the
        
         Spoiler shield, front
        
        . | |
| 3. | Place a receptacle under the car, connect a hose and drain the cooling system.   | |
| 4. | Remove the lower radiator mounting on the left side. Detach the radiator hose from the radiator.   | |
| 5. | Lower the car. | |
| 6. | Remove
        
         Battery
        
        and
        
         Battery cover, bottom section (B284)
        
        . | |
| 7. | Detach the turbocharger delivery hose from the turbocharger.   | |
| 8. | Detach the radiator hose from the thermostat housing pipe. | |
| To fit | 
| 1. | Attach the radiator hose to the thermostat housing pipe.   | |
| 2. | Attach the turbocharger delivery hose to the turbocharger. Twist the recess on the hose until it aligns with the marking on the turbocharger pipe connection. | |
| 3. | Fit the
        
         Battery cover, lower section
        
        and
        
         Battery
        
        . | |
| 4. | Raise the car. | |
| 5. | Fit the radiator hose with clamp to the radiator.   | |
| 6. | Fit the lower radiator mounting on the left side. Tightening torque 47 Nm (35 lbf ft) | |
| 7. | Fit the
        
         Spoiler shield, front
        
        . | |
| 8. | Lower the car. | |
| 9. | Pressure test the cooling system, see

| 10. | Top up coolant. See
