Circuit/System Description |
The Body control module (BCM) checks the lock latch devices by feeding the control circuit in question with positive battery voltage or ground. The control circuits for locking and unlocking the rear doors and passenger doors are interconnected. When the lock latch devices are not active, the control circuit has ground potential in BCM. The transition to locked and unlocked positions depends on which control circuits receive voltage and which control circuits receive ground.
Conditions for Running the DTC |
Ignition ON.
Conditions for Setting the DTC |
B3125 01, B3130 01, B3135 01
The BCM detects a short to battery on a door latch control circuit.

|
Action Taken When the DTC Sets |
All the power door locks will be inoperative.
Conditions for Clearing the DTC |
• |
This DTC will be current for as long as the fault is present.
|
• |
When the fault is no longer present, the DTC will be a history DTC.
|
• |

If only the driver's door LOCK and UNLOCK commands do not work:
|
4. |
Refer to Circuit/System Testing - Malfunction, Driver's Door below.
|
5. |
If one or more but not all, passenger doors LOCK and UNLOCK commands do not work:
|
6. |

|
7. |
If all the door LOCK and UNLOCK commands do not work:
|
8. |

|
9. |
If all the door LOCK and UNLOCK commands work:
|
10. |
All OK.
